Part A: Website terms of use
- About us. This website is operated by V-Tech UK Ltd (company no. 04581693), 181 Forest Road, IG6 3HZ. Contact: sales@v-techuk.com, 0208 498 1369. V-Tech is an Official BM Service Partner; "BM" and the BM logo are trade marks of BM Test, used with permission.
- Using the site. The site is for businesses in the UK. By using it you accept these terms. Don't misuse it, try to gain unauthorised access, or upload anything unlawful or harmful.
- Information on the site. We aim to keep information accurate, but it is general information, not a binding offer. Prices are by quote only. Contracts are formed only when we confirm your order or contract in writing.
- Serial checker. A serial check is an initial indication only. Eligibility is confirmed by V-Tech after application and may need an on-site inspection.
- Intellectual property. Content belongs to V-Tech or its licensors (including BM Test). Don't copy it for commercial use without permission.
- Liability. Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that can't be excluded by law. Otherwise we are not liable for loss arising from use of the website, or for indirect or consequential loss.
- Privacy. See our Privacy Policy.
- Law. English law; courts of England and Wales (Scottish or Northern Irish courts where your business is based there).
Part B: Total-Care service contract offer (closes 30 November 2026)
- Who can apply. Businesses in the UK with a BM brake tester: models BM 14200, 12200, 20200, 18200 or 11200, up to 20 years old. Everyone who applies is considered; all applications are subject to approval by V-Tech. Units not matched to our serial records, or bought elsewhere, may be accepted upon application, subject to approval and possibly an initial inspection.
- How to qualify. Register at bmbraketesters.uk (or by phone or email) and take out a new 12-month V-Tech service contract by 30 November 2026. Contract terms and price are tailored to each customer and quoted on request.
- Warranty cover. For the first 12 months of the contract, labour for warranty repairs is included, subject to fair use: up to 1 callout per month, capped at 12 per year, covering 1 on-site repair job per month. Parts used during warranty repairs are charged at the discounted rate (clause 4). Whether parts are included depends on the type of contract.
- 20% parts discount. 20% off all genuine BM parts for 12 months from registration, applied automatically as account pricing (no code). The discount applies to parts only and excludes calibration, labour and carriage.
- One per site. One offer per site, subject to approval. Multi-branch businesses can register each site.
- Coverage. No area limits across the UK mainland, islands and Northern Ireland, subject to approval and terms.
- Response. We aim to reply to enquiries within 24 hours, and to respond to breakdowns within 24 hours (priority options depend on your SLA).
- Warranty administration. Unit and contact details are shared with BM Test for warranty purposes.
- Changes and withdrawal. We may change or withdraw the offer for reasons beyond our reasonable control; this doesn't affect contracts already confirmed.
- Not combinable. This offer cannot be combined with any other V-Tech offer.
- Eligibility. Eligibility for the Total-Care offer is subject to these terms and is decided solely by V-Tech, in liaison with BM.
- Warranty transfer. The transfer of your existing warranty takes effect only when you take up a V-Tech Total-Care service package.
